jp.ik supports EduAI Conference 2026, advancing the dialogue on AI in education
Participation reinforces jp.ik’s commitment to education and highlights Intel’s role in the development of its latest AI PCs.
Porto, Portugal, 10 October 2026 – jp.ik will participate in EduAI Conference 2026 as a supporting partner, joining education leaders and specialists in Uruguay on 14–15 October to discuss how artificial intelligence can support teaching and learning.
Organised by Ceibal and Fundación Ceibal, the conference brings international perspectives to the opportunities and challenges of AI in education. For jp.ik, it is an opportunity to engage directly with education institutions, understand their priorities and help connect developments in technology with classroom needs.
“AI opens up new possibilities for education. Making those possibilities meaningful requires close collaboration between those who develop technology and those who use it to teach and learn. Our support for EduAI Conference reflects this commitment: listening to education communities and working together to ensure that innovation serves a clear educational purpose,” says Jorge Sá Couto, President of jp.ik.
Intel is a key technology partner in the development of jp.ik’s AI PC portfolio. Building on this collaboration, jp.ik’s latest computers powered by Intel’s Wildcat Lake and Panther Lake processors respond to the evolving computing requirements of education institutions as they explore the adoption of AI.
The relationship combines Intel’s advances in processor technology with jp.ik’s focus on computers for education. This informs the development of a portfolio designed to support teaching, learning and everyday computing, while preparing institutions for new applications and ways of working.
“Intel has long been an important technology partner for jp.ik, and that relationship remains central as we develop our next generation of AI PCs. With Wildcat Lake and Panther Lake, we are expanding our portfolio to address the changing needs of education institutions. EduAI Conference is an opportunity to understand how those needs are developing and bring that insight into our product decisions,” says Jorge Castilho, Director of Product & Solutions at jp.ik.
By supporting EduAI Conference, jp.ik continues its active engagement with the developments shaping education technology, strengthening the dialogue between product development and educational practice.
